Information on Students

At Conyers School we ensure information about students with SEND is shared and understood by all teachers, SEND support assistants and support staff whom they come into contact with. Information is shared through the school SEND support register to all staff. This is a fluid document recording all students with SEND needs.

Specific information about students with SEND is disseminated through a student passport which highlights the needs of the students, student strengths, strategies for the student and advice on how teachers can best meet needs.

There are also care plans which provide information on medical needs. SEND files on each student containing records of communications, meetings, historical evidence and reviews are available for staff to access. Any specialist report received on a student is circulated to all staff involved for reference.

The SENCo and SEND Support team meet regularly to share information with teaching staff and inform about needs.
