School Provision

Provision for students with SEND is of whole school importance. Central to the work of any class and curriculum area is a continuous cycle of planning, teaching, assessment and evaluation that accounts for the wider range of abilities, aptitudes and interests of the students. The majority of students will learn and progress within these arrangements. However, for some SEND students it may be necessary to provide an enhanced level of provision which supports and develops their learning abilities

This may include one or more of the following:

Where it is decided to provide a child with SEND support, parents will be formally notified. The SENCo will agree in consultation with the student and parents the adjustments, interventions and support to be put in place, expected impact on progress and date of review.

Students with SEND are included in all extra curricular activities and school educational visits, these are planned to facilitate participation of SEND students.
