The Review Process

When a child/young person is placed on the SEND support register an initial meeting is organised with parents to discuss provision. It is important to note all parents are informed of any SEN provision put in place for a student and there are opportunities throughout the academic year to attend meetings at school to review provision and the planning of support.

The SENCo, class teacher and the SEND support team will evaluate interventions and support for your child by measuring their impact on progress. This will be on a termly basis, through correspondence or as part of a formal review.

Support may be revised in light of the student’s development and progress, deciding on any change in consultation with both the student and parents.
