A Level Music Technology

Music Technology is a course which introduces students to recording, sequencing and producing. The course is taught in the newly refurbished music department where students will have individual workstations which run the industry leading ‘Pro tools’ software.

It is the ideal route for students wanting to follow Music or Music Technology courses at university. A-level Music Technology is very desirable for prospective employers in all areas of work including the music industry, arts administration, medicine, teaching, armed forces and journalism.

What is Music Technology?

Music technology is a course which introduces you to recording, composing and producing. You will learn to use state of the art professional equipment in a way which develops you as a sound engineer and musician.

A-Level Music Technology is the perfect stepping stone for students wanting to do Music and Music Technology courses at university. It is also a fully recognised A-Level that supports applications for other courses, especially if students are involved in extra-curricular activities.
