What is Biology?
Biology is the study of living things: where they live, how they function, how they behave, so it is of interest to most people. As a science subject students will develop skills of forming hypotheses, predicting outcomes and solving problems from a scientific perspective.
Why study it?
Biology is an ideal subject to combine with other sciences or to enhance other areas of the curriculum and it is strongly recommended for students wishing to pursue careers in Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Sciences.
