Curriculum Intent Statement:

The Conyers Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG) curriculum provides students with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need in order to make informed course and career choices. Informed partially by the Local Labour Market Information, it provides students with unbiased information about the opportunities available to them both within the locality and beyond. Planned activities and encounters are designed to equip students with essential employability skills; thus allowing all students to understand and fulfil their potential. Our guidance programme ensures that students follow a pathway that leads to a sustained destination, in which they can succeed, and go onto making a positive contribution in society.

Our Careers curriculum allows us to ensure that our NEETs remain low, and that our students go on to their next stages with ease. Full details of the Careers Curriculum from Year 7-13 can be found on our Curriculum Map.
