Sequence Discussion

There is a big step up in terms of knowledge for this course, so the first half-term is about giving students the basics. We then have a long sequence of Paper 2 topics, which should work well together. We will introduce evaluative essays, comparative essays and article writing during these units. Coursework is placed early to ensure that it does not interfere with exam preparation. Lots of time is given over to revisiting everything in Year 13 and writing many practice essays.
